Topcon GTS-229 “All Weather” highly productive total station is setting
a new standard for surveying. The GTS-229 total station features
its basic functions for distance and angle measurement in addition
to maintaining superb durability against the environment.
Topcon’s application programs makes surveying work quick and simple in the field.
Topcon GTS-229 can stand up to any wet weather condition that can occur in the field,
giving the benefit of not experiencing down time due to inclement weather.
The GTS-229 has the internal memory to store up to 8,000 points for data collection,
or up to 16,00 points for layout work, with this substantial memory capacity,
you do not need to worry about memory storage. Data communication
with an external data collector is possible with the RS-232C interface cable.
The laser plummet provides a clear visible spot on the ground,
so you can set up the instrument fast and easy. Topcon GTS-229 is provided
with a distance measuring range of 6,600ft to a single prism which
is superior in its class, while maintaining high accuracy ±(3mm + 3ppm x D).
Topcon’s electronic tilt compensator automatically detects inclination of
the standing axis and applies a correction to vertical angles.
This provides accurate elevation measurements, even if the instrument
is not precisely leveled.
