Description
The RXUW integrated meter transfer switch combines the meter socket and the automatic transfer switch, which saves installation time and labor. The all-in-one design meets NEC emergency disconnect requirements and reduces overall clutter on the home’s exterior for a cleaner, more appealing aesthetic.
The open transition type transfer switch is designed for use with single phase generators using an Evolution™ or Nexus™ controller in optional standby applications. A horn bypass, 4 jaw meter socket, and ringless type cover come standard. Optional accessories, such as ring type covers and 5th jaws, are available to meet local requirements.
The RXUW transfer switches are housed in an aluminum NEMA/ETL Type 3R enclosure suitable for either outdoor or indoor installation. The Heavy Duty Generac Contactor is an ETL recognized device, designed for years of service. All switches are covered by a 5 year limited warranty. extra accessories.
Intelligent Load Management:
Each switch comes standard with a Smart A/C Management module (SACM) to manage up to 4 individual HVAC (24 VAC controlled) loads with no additional hardware. When used in tandem with Smart Management Modules (SMM), up to 8 loads can be managed, providing the most installation efficient power management options available.
